Last Orders - a spiked podcast

Puts into easily comprehensible—eloquent even—language the thoughts running through my head that, if I tried to express them myself, would come out sounding like frustrated screams. The entire Anglosphere needs more Last Orders.

A podcast that is extremely informative through the format of civil conversation with highly informed and thoughtful individuals. No bombast.

Got interested in the podcast during Covid and never looked back.

It seemed like it was monthly before but has now become bi-weekly and I'm happier for it. Chris and Tom are a rational great listen.

Virtually every talk show or podcast consisting of journalists talking is tedious. This podcast is no exception. Few journalists are anything but ordinarily intelligent and even fewer have any interesting specialized knowledge. Certainly not enough to sustain regular discussion.
