Leafs Morning Take

Before I found Leafs Morning Take, my husband and kid would have the games on and I only sorta paid attention. I knew the Toronto Maple Leafs were a big deal, but that was about it. Then my husband kept turning this show on —and everything changed. Hosted with a perfect mix of insight, personality, and humor, Leafs Morning Take somehow makes every episode feel like you're just chatting hockey with good friends. It’s not just the stats or the scores—they break things down in a way that’s smart and easy to follow, even if you’re new to the sport. What really pulled me in was how passionate and real the hosts are. You can feel their love for the game and the Leafs, but they’re not afraid to be critical when it’s deserved. That honesty made it feel more credible, and their energy is contagious. I found myself watching highlights, learning the rules, and actually caring about trades and line combinations—something I never thought I’d say. I'm thrilled to have a way to talk hockey with my young hockey player and keep up with all things Leafs.

His rants are great. The other guy doesn’t like football. Seems like a weirdo. When the leafs are losing and they are irritated it’s the best shows
