Great Voice. Tells a story well. Interesting and engaging topics. Just the right amount of episodes to get it done. You gotta love a podcast that gets mostly fives and a couple ones…. I went back and read the ones… Always amazed at the trivial details that people complain about! Check this podcast out! GOOD STUFF!

The storytelling is brilliant. Julia Bricklin expertly brings the past to life by highlighting the smaller stories within the bigger story and providing details on individual characters.

Agree with the average rating. "Mexico and US were fighting over California" is quite myopic. It was an invasion of Mexico. Great storytelling though.
