Ten years ago, over three hundred men, women and children disappeared from a small town in Tennessee, never to be heard from again. In this podcast, American Public Radio reporter Lia Haddock asks the question once more, "What happened to the people of Limetown?" Limetown is produced by Two-Up, the producers of 36 Questions, The Wilderness and Shipworm.

Addictive (Unless You Have Misophonia)

It was nice to find a good suspenseful listen, and I would rate it five stars if it weren’t for their decision to deliberately record gulping and slurping when characters are drinking in Season 2. This isn’t even recorded live, they have to add it in on purpose. I’m so tired of this ASMR fetish, or whatever this current fad is. Make it stop!

Acting in meh

I couldn’t get through the first episode. It’s so obviously actors and it’s not believable that any of them are actually experiencing anything in the story.

First season is fun

Second season is almost impossible to just get through the first episode. The voice actors are horrendous the woman in the first episode of second season especially is like beyond horrible. They wander so far from why were there…the freaking story. Listen to the first season and it’s a good enough time. Special town where they could mind read…you won’t get any answers after that but the second season is like torture.
