Incredibly helpful for the person working out at home

DaveWFromTheCape6/13/2026

I really enjoy listening to this podcast when I am working out at home. The information the hosts deliver on strength training, nutrition, and other good habits explains what’s possible for health and fitness goals and the steps needed to achieve those goals. Because of their experience, their tone is encouraging as they know that changes take time and that success occurs because of consistency. The question and answer segment is especially helpful as many times I have had the same question or issue as the caller and have benefitted from the answers.

Motivational

The amount of knowledge I’ve gained from listening to this podcast maybe once a day or a few times a week is incredible. I’ve played sports my whole life and lifted weights in a similar fashion. Get in, beat the hell out of myself, get out. All while in a calorie deficit trying to lose fat and gain muscle and never understood why my progress would be so stagnant. This podcast taught me less I more and the majority of your fitness goals are achieved outside of the gym. I’m turning 36 and I wish I had this information at 20 years old. Thanks guys for all you do!

Great show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review Title: “From Injured and Confused to Strong, Pain-Free, and Educated – Thanks Mind Pump! I’ve been lifting for years, but I never really trained—not until I found Mind Pump. These guys bridge the gap between evidence-based programming and real-world application in a way no one else does. Dealing with a rare wrist condition (Kienböck’s disease) and post-surgery recovery, I thought my lifting days were numbered. But the Mind Pump philosophy—especially from Sal’s full-body routines and focus on longevity—helped me adapt my training, fix imbalances, and stay strong without breaking down. I’ve done MAPS Anabolic, Split, and Performance (and even mashed them into my own program and every time I come back to the basics they preach: mobility, recovery, and intelligent intensity. No fluff, no gimmicks. They’re not just about hypertrophy or fat loss—they’re about building a body that can do stuff. And the way they explain training, nutrition, and even mindset is like having 3 older brothers who actually know what they’re talking about. I’m stronger at 30 than I was at 20, even with less volume, more intention, and no machines—just free weights, barbells, and smart programming. Thanks for helping me train for the long game, fellas. Now about that free shirt… 😉

Fun listen. Good info

I have been listening to this show for over a year now. I have found a lot of good information and have seen great results by following the advise I have heard. I have bought multiple MAPS programs and I have found great success in using them. Love the show! Thanks guys!

Meh

I was a huge fan of this show for many years. I found their advice and insight into the fitness industry very helpful and informative. However, they seem to have lost the plot. Advertising and recommending products that contrast their advice like telling listeners to avoid processed food but then recommending processed food from their sponsors/partners. This one example of their hypocrisy and susceptibility to selling out. The podcast, especially Sal has transformed the content into a religious sales pitch and talking down on things they do themselves. A true embodiment of “do as I say, not as I do”. They want to believe they are good role models but I can ensure you they are not. MindPump has transformed from a group of friends who care about fitness and want to spread good information into a money hungry, judgmental, and fanatical religious recruitment tool. If you have your heart set on listening to this podcast and want some good information, start 5-7 years ago and stop about a year or two ago. Otherwise, check out a different podcast.
