i really wanted to like this podcast but y’all.. these people don’t have any business commenting on things they are completely uneducated about. it makes me genuinely worried for the future that some people seem to think these hosts are well informed about culture, anyone with even a basic understanding or background in the arts would immediately clock their misinformed opinions. is this the age of podcasting we’re in? talk about whatever and throw out your half baked and completely unresearched, shallow, and faulty take? disappointing.

Recently found this pod and listened for 10 hours straight, no lie

This podcast taught me all about "bimbofication hypnosis" and other things that a man of my age has no business knowing... (UPDATE 7/13: In the latest episode, they described an actor as being "not corseted" but having an "internal corset." They concluded from this that the man was, therefore, "snetch." At which point the one they call Biz remarked that the musical was "not giving cubism." ...I am now convinced that these women do not know what many ordinary words mean and are creating new words in order to compensate.)

I’ve been listening to the pod since mid-2021. Overall the commentary has been really interesting and has made me think a lot about style and culture and the ways it evolves around it. The recent episodes have been more inconsistent tho. The ideas are still there but I miss the group discussion dynamic that made it such a good listen. Too many episodes are one of the hosts interviewing someone else and I find those less interesting. What made me fall in love with the pod in the first place was hearing these 3 interesting people talk to each other, and now they barely ever record together anymore.

The show used to be good, but the trio is unraveling. It was jarring to hear Biz go mask off and mock Alexi for being…excited? But the last clue was their cruel minimization of Women’s health issues. They don’t like women, including themselves. It’s a real depressing look into modern misogyny. Shout out to Alexi’s mom, now I have the perfect answer to why I am no longer a feminist💕 Really bad form to to boast about having cycles that don’t significantly interfere with their lives. 🧿🧿🧿 the show has about 8 more months before it’s over. So sad.
