Joe Weisenthal has the most annoying voice on the planet.
I like the content of the show but I just can’t. Joe Weisenthal’s is like sandpaper on my brain.
Stop talking at over your guests
Joe keeps talking over guests, “Yeah”….”Oh, yeah” mid-sentence, over and over again WHILE the guest is in the middle of a complicated technical explanation. Makes it impossible to actually follow the guest’s train of thought. Stop it, Joe. Just stop.
Love — Except the “Likes”!
This excellent podcast is a stretch for me as I don’t have a strong business or technical background. What an enjoyable challenge! Props to hosts Tracy and Joe for their fascinating in-depth interviews. If only they would limit their use of “like” as a filler word. T&J, you sound smart but not too smart or formal, no need to, like, dumb yourselves down.
Plz quip less, Joe
Let guests finish thoughts, and answer Tracy’s questions too.
Soft-served, vacuous questions
Listen to the Cerebras episodes. The hosts seemed more interested in fawning and placating the CEO than asking hard questions. Ask the CEO how does it make sense to trade at 100x book when the company is 80% UAE money? Of course not, better ask him “what does it feel like to be a billionaire”! What’s this GQ Business?
