Some Girls Had Lip Gloss. Alie had udders. I Had the 19th Amendment
I’ve always loved Ologies for making me feel like I’ve found my people, but Alie’s recent secret about showing up to 7th grade Halloween dressed as a cow while all the other girls had apparently moved on to lip gloss made me feel SEEN. Because I, too, showed up to 7th grade on Halloween in full costume, only to discover everyone else had collectively decided we were too old for that. Except instead of a cow, I was dressed as Susan B. Anthony. While the other girls were discovering lip gloss, I was apparently still fighting for women’s suffrage. Thanks, Ologies, for making a place where the lip gloss girls, the cows, and the Susan B. Anthonys of the world can all belong. Five stars for finally finding my people.

The optimal measurement of distance on a road trip is not in fact miles or kilometres, but rather how many Ologies it takes to get there.
A Very Fine Product (tm)
I’m mostly writing this in case Alie needs a palette cleanser because I saw a completely unwarranted nasty review and I know she reads all of them. Alie makes a very fine product, and speaking of palette cleansers, I often use this podcast as just that after a hard day. Escapism at its finest.
Gross politics
Not happy to hear the political bias of the host. I don’t want to hear centering of trans – identified males, men, and the Muslim talking point of “genocide” in Gaza in a science podcast. I guess you have to virtue signal by hating women, Christians, and Jews nowadays. Gross.
Awesome Pod!!
Your podcast is fire! I’m an AP Biology teacher in VA and I loved your Deep Sea Microbiology episode with Dr. Girguis! I’m using it in my Cellular Energetics unit. We’re using it to discuss Cellular Respiration, Gibbs Free Energy, Carbon Fixation, Chemosynthesis and Trophic Efficiency! All the stuff that gives the non-bio people nightmares...ha Really educational; this interview and Dr. Girguis’s research provides some awesome content to get high schoolers engaged in their studies. Thank you!
