On the Road with Penguin Classics

Hosts have super informative and interesting conversations. Great atmospheric production too. Are there more episodes coming?

Excellent podcast with great insight. Henry Elliot and C Phillips offer such thoughtful and knowledgeable comments. And the tour through the cafés in Paris was a fascinating background. I had just finished Giovanni's room and this was a perfect follow up. Thank you.

I love On the Road with Penguin Classics. The selection of works is eclectic and wide-ranging. The host is charming, and the guests, invariably interesting. I’ve already bought too many new books, though.

Hats off to Henry Eliot and Penguin Classics for this original, informative and atmospheric podcast. There’s something for everyone to enjoy. Those of us invited to revisit a longtime classical favorite gain something fresh and entertaining from the depth of research and background knowledge. Those who are new to the story receive enough (without spoilers) to whet their appetite for more. The format and pace are lively: music and sound add subtle effects, without ever becoming intrusive. A great new series!
