Ongoing History of New Music

Love this podcast! Maybe explore the shoegaze sound bands since this sound is coming back around?

This podcast has quickly become one of my first listens each week. He’s smart and knows the history of music. That being said he does make some simple mistakes that do hurt the credibility of the show (Plush by STP being on The Crow soundtrack), errors that can be fact checked in a few seconds. There is also times where he will contradict what he says in different podcasts. With more fact checking it would be a 5.

Great podcast. Grew up listening to CFNY and Alan Cross. Glad he continued the great work on Alt Rock. You can’t find a radio station with this information any longer.

This is my favorite podcast. I love listening to all the stories about music. He really puts a great voice to interesting stories about how music came to be. It’s a must have listened.

Alan Cross has some amazing, and unbelievable music story’s to tell. I can’t get enough of this podcast.
