Loses it’s way

Season 1 is decent. Intriguing enough to keep you listening, though there are some predictable moments. Season 2 is a mess. First half throws a bunch of useless nonsense at you, and as everyone else says, the main character becomes pretty insufferable.

A decent show, some problems

Overall a decent show - some of the things a just bad. Main character gets hauled in by the FBI and they give her info "as a courtesy". Bull. The bit in episode 2.5 about "You honestly think ICE aren't rounding up whoever ..." Shut up. Stop with the anti-ICE garbage. The biggest issue th9se is the horrible recording. The use of "computer voices" to "mask" a caller or the low voices in the middle of a normal conversation is annoying at best. The vast majority of people listen with ear buds in, a normal volume for conversation is suddenly too low for the whispers. Then you turn up the volume to get the whispers and then you get blown out. Or the sound effects are louder than the conversation so you miss things. Interesting show but could be a better production.

Has the makings of a good podcast

I don’t know whether the lead character was instructed to portray herself to be the most idiotic, unempathetic and stupid MC fiction has seen (or maybe it was the writing I don’t want to blame her entirely). I cannot stand her and I feel like she gives women protagonists a bad name. She’s neither evil nor good; she is merely incompetent and unlikable, which is worse. Hard to want to follow a story with someone like her as the instrument through which the plot unfolds.

Amazing!!!

The story is captivating and the acting was good overall. but the main character was such an insufferable brat and a rude jerk to everyone she comes in contact with that it’s obnoxious. Like its painful to listen to a grown person act like such an ungrateful brat. I mean shes young but not like 13. It makes the story more unbelievable bc she gets so much help but she is so unlikeable. I can suspend belief for everything but the fact people would actually like someone this inconsiderate and rude. Would have been cool to have a strong young female lead but instead we get … this.
