Passerelles : a French podcast for intermediate learners

This podcast accompanied me a year or two before my move to France. I just listened to her latest episode about maternity today, and it became clear why I loved to listen to this podcast so much: Her voice is gorgeous, and she speaks with a rare mixture of kindness, intelligence, and gentleness. She thinks deeply about any topic which crosses her mind, so she’ll never put out a shallow episode. While living in France has come with lots of challenges (no one speaks as clearly as Emilie, or as patiently mdr), I’m grateful to get to revisit this podcast and I highly recommend it to intermediate learners of French! Bravo, Emilie, et merci pour tout that you’ve given your listeners!

I love Emilie‘s topics, and appreciate the time she undoubtedly puts into each episode, researching the nuances of whatever it is she is exploring. She speaks slowly and clearly and makes it pleasurable to listen! I also appreciate her soothing voice, and the fact that she doesn’t load up her episodes with obnoxious commercials!
