Criticizing small businesses and calling them pass throughs over and over again and attacking small business orders for making money. Would you prefer communism? And they used outdated numbers to imply that they have a lower tax rate WHEN THAT IS NO LONGER TRUE!!! I’ve been a long term listener but I’m done. That was seriously dishonest.

“And that is largely because of the Baby Boomers” is Jeff Guo’s reply to Erika Beras’s stating a date of doom for Social Security not having enough money to make full payments to retirees. As soon as 2032… We Baby Boomers are retiring in force, because we are old! Congress has been sounding this alarm since I could first vote! Please place the burden and guilt on Congresses’ shoulders not on the little old ladies and gentlemen’s bony ones.

English isn’t my first language, and I recently started listening to Planet Money because of my economics professor. This show has changed my life and the way I see the world. I have an hour-long drive to school, and I listen throughout my commute. While listening to today’s episode, I was so moved by the part about giving money back to consumers that I actually started crying. Thank you for putting so much care into this show. It means more to me than I can express.

How will we pay ? The same way we pay for wars that kill and maim, we change priorities to pay for things that help us instead. NPR is propaganda.
