Detailed but meandering
Appreciate the in depth analysis, but the show could benefit by having a time limit to an hour. Conversations typically ramble and generally feel not thought out
Even as a hockey nerd, the negativity bias is brutal
Sean is fine, but Ryan greatly suffers from feeling like the smartest guy in the room while being a keyboard warrior type. I love hockey, I love advanced analytics, and I love all discourse about how players are actually performing around the league. That said, Ryan spends 95% of his time scoffing and discussing how everyone, save a small handful of players, stinks at hockey. This show is snarky and smarmy and at the end of the day just not very entertaining anymore. I think the young guys accidentally turned into old men screaming at the clouds. Bring some positivity once in a while, sheesh.
Let Sean talk more
Let Sean talk more. A lot more. Seriously. When multiple times an episode Ryan says “sorry I’ll let you talk again in a minute,” there’s your red flag the other host isn’t talking enough.
Flyers
I’ve listened to these guys for years. But I’m tired of their disregard for and biased reporting against the Flyers.
Sean is great.
Greg was great. Ryan is the worst. That guy is insufferable. I’ll eat an old shoe before I give that clown money.
