Absolutely wild to side and do a whole season supporting families who abuse their children. Also note these are all white families. No one would think twice if these were black children/families. Medical professionals are at law mandated reporters. Child abuse pediatricians look at facts. They are aren’t out here looking to kidnapped children. What a waste of time serial, very disappointing. Podcast is very biased.

There are hundreds of podcasts out there, also with ads, that are free. I’ve no doubt this season of Serial will eventually be free, eventually. Believe me, I can wait.

First… ads… why ? I am a subscriber. Why bother me with them Second, the first 3 seasons were so great. Then it went stupid, lazy, long and underwhelming in the end. Season 4 is interviewing one side of the story and because access to the other side is limited, it takes a stand that is unbelievably irresponsible. Nice white parents just does not belong there. A harsh criticism against people who try to improve the school system to praise the PTA irresponsible social club. So sad to see what a lack of nuance and thinking did to Sarah Koenig.

I listened to season 1 recently and I can’t understand how this show has such a large following. Had no one at NPR ever heard of IPV? No one even thought to consider interviewing an expert, or presenting that as a theory? One in three women experience it. Please do better.
