My name is Dr. John Watson, once of the British Army Northumberland Fusilier Regiment, now a true crime podcaster based in Central London. I don't have much experience in criminology, so this is mostly a record of how I met possibly the most brilliant and bizarre person I have ever (and will ever) know. Join me as I document the adventures of Sherlock Holmes. This podcast is property of Goalhanger Podcasts. Copyright 2023. SHERLOCK AND CO. Based on the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Love the show

I absolutely love the show and listen to it over and over. The comedy, the serious moments, the voice actors are absolutely perfect and I can’t imagine anybody else for the parts BUT there is one thing I need to get off my chest from listening to Red Circle 4 or 5 times… Bull Sharks have been reported multiple times to inhabit freshwater rivers, estuaries, and lakes from at least 1916 to present in the. So a shark in a lake in New Jersey is indeed plausible.

What a hoot

This show was something that I started because my last one wrapped up and I went in thinking it would hopefully pass the time but oh ho ho was I work it’s fantastic and the acting is great the stories are well done and it makes me look like a lunatic when I’m doing plumbing in a new house and laughing whilst doing so. Great show Joel from New Hampshire

Oh please don’t leave us hanging….😏

I absolutely LOVE this podcast! I love how it takes a modern twist to the Sherlock classics. I listen all the time at work and recommend it all the time. Can’t wait for the rest.

Locked in from Ohio

Started this with little hopes while on a long drive to New York for work. Always liked Sherlock stories and movies but had little hopes for a podcast. 10 seasons in I’m in it for the long run now!

Favorite audio drama

loquist3/26/2026

I’ve listened to all the great audio dramas — We’re Alive and The Black Tapes and Limetown — and this is the most satisfying, well-written, and audibly excellent audio drama I’ve listened to. I remember several episodes in seeing a review complaining that they’d grown bored with Sherlock and Co. I assumed it would get worse as the seasons moved along. Now that I’ve caught up (and joined the Patreon) I can say how wrong I was. The writing has only gotten better. The characters have grown in nuance and their relationships have brilliantly evolved. I am on the EDGE of my seat waiting for a certain M character to become more central in their lives. Love, love, love and highly recommend!
