This review is part critique. It is also partially praise for what was. First off, Short and Curly is a marvelous podcast. I have been listening to it for years. The issue is not with audio quality or Eleanor, but with the fact that episodes are slowly gearing to younger and younger children. The most recent installment of episodes is a bit better about this— Plato’s Forms are introduced. And eight year old should not be expected to read Hobbes. Simultaneously, with Matt, the silliness was profoundly within the philosophy— a delivery mechanism. However I still enjoy listening, if only for more comedy. Earnestly, Anna

These episodes need to stay truly open ended for discussions instead of subtly steering towards a predetermined view. It’s antithetical to do this for a show aimed to provoke thoughts in children.
