Tom and Emily’s banter is so pithy and mirth-filled, the topic they are discussing is almost irrelevant. They could be reviewing in-depth the intricate details of a rural yawning festival from 1885, and I’d probably still be riveted to the discussion. I’ve really enjoyed all the various iterations of Shut Up and Sit Down over the years and this is an excellent representation.

Up Late Again9/8/2023

I was a bit late to the SUSD party, but I have been listening for over a year now, and I look forward to every installment. The banter is witty and pleasant, and never digresses too much from the task at hand. The reviews and commentary are thoughtful, and while YMMV, I have found that their tastes are close enough to mine that I can put a lot of stock in their recommendations. The fantastic intro music is just icing on the cake; every time I hear it kick in through my headphones, I know I am in for an enjoyable ride.

Ok podcast

Well, I really like this podcast, and the YouTube videos too. I just have one problem and that is that the hosts have a bit too much of a tendency to chase controversy and hate on universally loved games. The fact that they DIDN’T recommend Root, but gave the SEAL OF APPROVAL to Turncoats, a handmade game designed and made by one woman in Sweden or whatever is absolutely criminal and stupid, mainly because they frequently refuse to recommend games that are a limited run/hard to get your hands on.
