Giles is so annoying

SneakyHobbitses•8/12/2026

Susie is amazing to listen to, I just wish Giles would shut up and let her complete her sentences

Absolutely Wonderful

teo del fuego•11/5/2024

Two thoroughly enjoyable people having delightful conversations about the origin of words. But the podcast is so much more than that. The humor, digressions, and asides make this podcast hugely entertaining as well as educational. Let's hope Gyles and Susie have a long running hit with this. If you liked the old BBC program, My Word, you'll love this.

Amazing

Mr. Giles...shhhhh! Stop interrupting Ms. Dent! Just stop!

I can feel myself getting smarter!

A Favorite

AK Musician•9/28/2023

10 stars, 5 for Susie and 5 for Gyles. My goal is not to shout out other podcasts, but I find it funny that my favorite podcasts are all British: “something rhymes with purple”, “no such thing as a fish” and “the infinite monkey cage”. What do the names of these podcasts say about language, and more important, what does it say about me, a medical professional in Alaska!! Keep us laughing…we all need it!
