Why is sexism against men fine and heavily endorsed by this podcast, yet sexism against women is wrong? I’m a woman who enjoyed this podcast until I heard a few episodes that I find so hypocritical. It’s not informative or entertaining… so what is the point?

Wow. I actually had to get out of a bubble bath to shut this episode off. I am not on Book Tok and I don’t even read that much. But honestly the host sounds so smug. She literally isn’t even close to Book Tok and she made people sound so shallow and manipulative. So much judgment and so much disrespect for Morgan. I hope when you relisten you cringe at your formal self.

It’s such a smart group of women who get together and dissect some of the biggest stories and topics in our society - but presented in a way that feels like you’re hanging with your friends. I love it!

I was excited about finding a new, at least to me, cult podcast, but I think this one is for the basic girls out there. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but the interviews and all the information is very “over culture”. But I get it. The host is a former beauty editor so I think that’s the audience. I was just looking for something a little more… authentic.
