Entertaining shows, capturing a great point in Hollywood with the stars from a great generation of entertainers. The host talks for too long with the start up but just fast forward.

Wonderful presentation of Suspense

This show rocks. I am so happy to have found it. The host/podcaster has a wonderful voice and has researched the stars and the history of the show. I liked Suspense before, but this is a selection of great episodes. Also, no ads and no subscription selling. Just relaxing (mostly) listening.

Interesting, informative introductions, and top notch curation! If you like Golden Age Hollywood stars, Old Time Radio, classic suspense stories, this is for you! Along with companion podcast “Down These Mean Streets,” absolutely the best place to listen to Old Time Radio. Vintage commercials are a bonus!

A Great Service

I listen to a lot of Radio programs from the 40’s and 50’s. Frankly it is the best era of mass entertainment that our country and even the world has known. “Stars own Suspense” does the best job of any I have heard in bringing this era to life. The information provided by the host and the radio plays themselves are great entertainment and they beat out most of the trash that is being broadcast today.
