Does Tay ever shut the heck up and let Stassi finish a sentence?
I’m so disappointed on the direction of this podcast. I have always been a fan of Stassi and was so excited her career has turned around as it should have. But every week Tay dominates conversation, constantly interrupts Stassi and makes the everything about Tay herself. I find myself fast forwarding when Tay is speaking so I can finally hear from Stassi. Isn’t this podcast supposed to be about Stassi? Does Tay ever shut up? Tay is this annoying, loud distraction that seems to get worse each week.
Time to Make a Change
I really hope all of this feedback is taken seriously and Stassi realizes she needs to go back to solo podcasting. I think it’s been made abundantly clear the dynamic is not only not working, it’s grating. I hope the Hulu show is as successful as they think it will be, but even if it is, this podcast needs to change. I’m actually embarrassed for Taylor, and I’m sensing her incessant fangirling is making Stassi uncomfortable, too. Lo has to see it too, even outside the reviews. They addressed it in the recent episode, and as predicted, Taylor couldn’t just take it in, she had to make it an issue every chance she could. I feel like they have to be careful around her or she’ll have a meltdown. I don’t know their dynamic off the mic, but if it’s like this, it has to make Beau and Taylor’s wife uncomfortable or annoyed too. And I wish they’d realize how off-putting all the teasers, inside jokes, and “I’ll tell you later” comments are. I’m sure it’s not easy mixing friendship and business like this, but I don’t think both can be successful together in this case. Tough decision for Stassi, I’m sure. But until she makes it, I can’t listen anymore.
It’s just not working
I feel like the show isn’t working because you guys are too much of best friends, and it’s keeping you from being effective cohosts. 1) Your everyday conversations must be Taylor talking 80% of the time, but this does not work for us who want to hear STASSI. 2) Taylor naturally talks and moves VERY fast. She cuts Stassi off INCESSANTLY. This dynamic clearly works for their friendship somehow, but for us who never get to hear Stas finish her thoughts or stories, for the entirety of every podcast, it’s so frustrating!!! I feel like I’m going mad😵💫 3) BFFs can talk endlessly about anything right? Ok but your latest Summer House talk (which we’ve already talked about in past episodes keep in mind) was 25 minutes!🤯 Dragging out one topic to a point where it’s boring and repetitive has been a recurring theme on this podcast. I miss listening to Stassi covering many different topics throughout an episode, it was fun and engaging. But the large majority of this podcast is a very uninteresting listen now😭 Please, it’s never too late to go back to your old format or pick a different cohost. We beg of you Stas as long time fans, to reconsider this move.
It’s me hi
Hey soooo The Toast girls are who you can blame for hate towards LGBTQ+ among republicans going up!! Try holding your girly swilrlys accountable instead of your very liberal audience who hates hearing yall spewed their nonsense (see: Spencer Pratt). Loser behavior.
You listened!!!Feedback -Love S&T
The podcast has taken a turn. I don’t mind hearing about S’s professional life, but when it becomes 90% of the show, it turns to propaganda/ad world. I tune into Stassi bc I like her takes and banter, not her just talking about herself (projects) with someone else. I like chat about Summerhouse ; Really anything pop-culture, fashion, body/face improvement focused,l life/mom life, anything not in terms of projects (specifically ones that can’t be elaborated on). That chat is boring and not relatable. Neutral takes on people/situations, or “I’ll tell you later” moments are frustrating bc I tune in for their perspective. I think the ref of certain friends can be dangerous/alienating (toast). I want this show to continue to succeed, but the substance needs to be changed. I looked forward to hearing this every week & now not so much. I rec focusing on hot topics at least as a way to have structure so I don’t have to hear about personal plan making and “secret” things and more gassing up about things that can’t be talked about- not just the show fyi
