Stuff about Things: An Art History Podcast

I love, love, LOVE your podcast. It’s so smart, witty and thoughtful provoking without being stuffy. There’s really no other art history podcast that compares to Lindsay’s refreshing and fun storytelling. I wish she’d come back to do more:)

This is an amazing listen! Lindsay, I just found this podcast and It’s incredible entertaining and interesting, also quite fun! I’m just a regular person (no art history phd or even close) working in finance who happens to love art and you make everything so easy to understand and so enjoyable! I’m dreading the possibility of running out of episodes soon!

This is an Art Historical Tour De Force. As someone with just a BA in art history and one year of an incomplete masters program I am blown away by the research and scholarship of Ms. Sheedy or should I say Dr. Sheedy? I just finished part 1 of the Gardener Heist and have begun part 2. I live in LA and spend way too much time in my car. I have also been listening to way too much crime and court podcasts. My fifteen year old daughter is often with me and I don't want her hearing all the sad stories. (Although this theft is very tragic) When she just got out of the car now she said "this case is so interesting" I thought she was listening to music. But snaps for Dr. Sheedy that she started to listen to you instead. I am very late to this art history podcast but after I listen to the heist episodes I can't wait to start on episode 1. I went to college '79-'83. So many of my meals in the dining hall I was always defending my art history major to the eternal question "what are you going to with that?" My answer now would be..." I am going to enjoy art, history, museums and architecture for the rest of my life. That is what I am going to do with that." Thank you so much for this labor of love.

Informative, insightful, and downright fun. Whether you’ve studied art history or know zilch, this podcast is for you. Lindsay’s a great host and each episode is like having a convo with your super smart (and funny) friend. Keep up the amazing work!

This is my favorite podcast right now. It’s accessible and fun but also gives you enough depth to nerd out.
