Claude was not used in bombing the Iranian school. That was Maven, a machine learning driven targeting tool that is semi-autonomous and still involves humans to update it with accurate data. The database was outdated and that negligence resulted in a war crime. Not all AI is generative AI. Please educate yourself before making these false statements. The Guardian did a great article on the Iranian school bombing.

Generally great and on point but way WAY off exculpating smartphones of any blame for our modern ills when they play such an obvious and data-backed part.

Not sure why these some of these reviews are calling her Trumpy. She’s very progressive and rips on conservative politics in every episode (respectfully and with receipts). Yes, she deservedly criticizes the largely catatonic Democratic Party at times too. But her takes are liberal, pro-freedom, and pro-democracy. We must be able to criticize our government no matter who is in power. Taylor is thoughtful and the topics she discusses are important. She invites credible, interesting guests and I learn things every episode. I do wish that she would recognize the harms that phones and social media can and do have on people, and that she would just explore and discuss the counterpoints to her arguments a little more. Sometimes the nuance is lost a bit. Also I didn’t even know what vocal fry was and nothing sounds weird about her voice to me. Overall, great podcast! :)
