Lack of confidence
I’ve listened to a handful of episodes now and was especially surprised to hear in March 16’s episode with Dr. Stephen Faraone how uneducated the host seemed about ADHD medication and treatment. Perhaps in order to seem more relatable to the listener she intentionally asked questions in a manner that someone would had they no idea of the subject matter. However, I was left questioning her own understanding of the disorder and feeling uneasy that someone who provides ADHD coaching services wouldn’t have a solid, at least basic, understanding of ADHD medication and therapies. I hope I’m wrong and that maybe this is just part of her interviewing style. Or maybe I just haven’t listened to enough episodes, though I do not plan on continuing.
For everyone
This podcast is for anyone. So many diverse episodes for parents & teachers of all kinds of children! I recommend this to so many of my friends in education, or parenting biological, adopted, or foster care children. It has helped my husband and I parent our kids in a new light and made for a much more predictable & peaceful household.
Truly useful information
Kate has a passion for helping ADHD kids and their parents navigate their way through childhood and adolescence. Each episode has unique and truly helpful information to help them along their path. Absolutely worth the time to listen in.
Full of useful information for parents and young adults
Each episode has valuable information, useful tips, names of organizations and stories of experiences from both parents and their children. I always learn something new that I want to do or look into after I finish a podcast.
