Super helpful

This podcast has done so much for me in the few weeks since I’ve discovered it. My son was diagnosed earlier this month with ADHD. This podcast has helped me understand his brain and given insight into the diagnosis. It’s helped me understand practical ways I can help my son and I feel like a better parent having listened. Thank you!

Freedom from limiting beliefs

Like many parents with adhd kids, I was diagnosed after my son. Before having my own children, I taught young children and was always passionate about eradicating shame from the learning process while having high expectations for both the children that struggled and for the classroom community. Fast-forward to 2026, when I stumbled upon your podcast in one of my crusades to improve the peace in my family. To be frank, my marriage was suffering because my husband and I had wildly different perspectives on how to support and understand l my son. Your podcast was the first Resource I have ever found that my husband and I could both digest and enjoy. Your focus on research and sharing hard truths appeals to both of us, and I now see the value and necessity of some of the things that he’s been trying to tell me. We had been considering counseling, but are now more focused on your respective programs because our main struggles revolve around adhd conflicts. Thank you for helping free me from some limiting beliefs about my son’s abilities and see him as anti fragile. I’m Excited for how our family can grow and learn in the future!

Must listen for all children clinicians!

I appreciate the research and evidence based approach these two take, rather than repeating the pseudoscience so commonly found in the social media world. As a licensed clinical social worker who works in schools and also a parent of a son with ADHD, I have learned more from this podcast and Michael’s book, that I have from my 14 years of direct experience. As a result of the information provided, I now feel equipped to service my students and families better and to create a home environment more conducive to executive functioning for my son.

As a member of a teen with ADHD, I have found the ADHD dude membership and podcast very helpful. It gave me confidence and practical tools when I needed them most. I appreciated that the advice was straightforward, realistic, and focused on building skills instead of quick fixes. It helped me better understand my son‘s challenges and advocate for him more effectively. I would absolutely recommend it to other parents looking for guidance!!!

I listen to several podcast about ADHD but I find this one very grounded and realistic in their approach. The information is science based and that is important.
