A truly spectacular podcast about the west and America in general. Dan Flores is a great storyteller. I love listening to a smart, well-educated person talk about all my favorite subjects.

Dan Flores..... you are amazing. I'm on the Missouri right now cooking for an outfitter and guide. I just met a guide on the trip who was student of yours. Needless to say I was so jealous and had many questions . Your depth of knowledge and conveyance to the reader is beyond comprehension for us mere mortals. No wonder Steve Rinella has taken you onto his team. "Surround yourself with people better than you", and Steve is up there on his story telling and mastery of writing. Thank you for sharing your craft!

Anything that Dan Flores presnts is excellent! I just want a podcast on that, full stop. But there is an insistence on a post podcast interview/ Q&A with Steven Rhinella that is just terrible. It offers NOTHING of value to an episode. I tend to stop most episodes once this q&a starts.

This has fast become one of my favorite listen’s. I look forward to every episode, and am never disappointed.

You can never have too much Dan Flores. I always appreciate his perspective.
