The Bible Explained with Jenn Kokal

For thousands of years studying the Bible has been about having a scroll read to you, looking at a stained glass window in a cathedral, or making notes in a time worn Bible. But now the internet means we have a million new ways to read (or ignore) the Bible. It can be overwhelming! Thank you, Jenn, for using Internet technology, podcasting, blog posts, and an online store to bring the Truth of the Bible to people hungry for the word of God and thirsty for His Wisdom!

I needed help to understand what I was reading the Bible. You do a great job in helping me understand what I’m reading. I love you give context to things surrounding the scriptures. Thank you for all that your do!

It was difficult to just sit and read the bible for me. I felt I did not understand what I was reading. I started to worry about my salvation. I searched podcasts and God pointed me to this podcast and now I truly understand the bible and feel closer to God. Thank you Jenn for sharing God’s word with us! I started from the beginning and I am so excited to listen to more and more episodes. I also am about to do your Bible study. Out of the Mire.

I honestly don’t remember how I stumbled on this podcast but God sure does! I am one of those people that has been wanting to read the Bible for years but always gets discouraged. Even the simplest versions don’t quite pull me in enough to keep going…. But this podcast has changed my life! I absolutely enjoy my time reading along with Jenn and hearing her breakdown each scripture. What an absolute blessing because it’s finally clicking! I also really love Jenn’s humor and laugh! It is the best! Thank you so much for taking the time to do this everyday! May God continue to bless you for blessing all of us!

I love this show! I love the way Jenn teaches and the background/context she brings to the verses is so helpful. Plus she seems to really enjoy doing it and her joy is infectious! I went back to the beginning so I’m only in Numbers but so far I love it. I learned so much about Leviticus which is a book I never understood or enjoyed reading until listening to her explain it! My only complaint is that I don’t like to listen on YouTube, but I can’t find the seasons tab on Podcasts anymore. When I first started listening, I was able to go to her page and pull up the various seasons and go right to where I left off, but it’s gone and I’m not listening to her latest stuff right now so I find myself having to go to the YouTube app, which I don’t prefer.
