Thank you for making history come alive
I listened to the 1st season of the Big Dig podcast, and fell in love with my city all over again. I grew up in Massachusetts and was taught to be a Boston driver by navigating “the squeeze” as my dad called it. I lived here when the highway was elevated and after it was taken down. But there was so much I didn’t know about it until I listened to your podcast. It was fascinating, frustrating, inspiring, and so good! I didn’t want it to end. Please keep sharing more stories like this. I’m completely hooked.
Truly engaging
The Big Dig is an excellent podcast that discusses highways, history, social, environmental, and economic impacts. What was, what we have and what may be from controversy to compromise to very cool collaboration you will be more informed and engaged than imagined.
Great podcast
This is a great podcast about the struggle between communities, government, and economic forces told through the lens of infrastructure podcasts. Even if you think you don’t care about the stories of highways, you’ll be fascinated by these stories. If you like 99% Invisible, Planet Money, Endless Thread, or This American Life, you’ll dig this show.
Amazing
Love this podcast and series!
Great Road Trip Material
I was listening to The Wild by Chris Morgan, and an ad came up for this podcast. I was so intrigued I had to start listening to it and I could not stop. It was so good.
