The Hindenburg episode
I listen to this podcast occasionally and generally think the digs from daughter to father are good natured, but during this particular episode, Kate was quite mean to her father. Even if she didn’t appreciate the information he discovered when looking into the facts, her harsh words about his choice to do so were unnecessarily cruel. Lay off your father a bit!
Lovely duo w/solid reviews
A gentle, civil show that not only reviews fascinating books but interviews authors and bookstore owners. The father/daughter relationship is sweet and serves to appeal to all ages. Intelligent, appealing, and fun. So glad i found this show which I have enjoyed for years. Thank you, Charlie and Kate!
What about a show on some books you just love can be old ones too
Love the show
Rick Riordan is a very good author
I read a book by Rick Riordan and I love the part when echo echos the words they say and it is soooooo funny. This podcast is great!
The Librarians
The episode of the Librarians was the first podcast that made me cry. Librarians are truly unsung heroes, and to listen to the verbal and online abuse she has encountered was heartbreaking. Keep up the great work - you are truly making a difference in the lives of all of us - especially children. It is of the utmost importance to protect our first amendment rights, and you are leading the charge - thank you!
