The Bougie Show

Good show and idea but stop the stupid sound effects and like everyone says the host sucks .

Sound effects need to go or tone it down. Conversations feel too scripted. Need more authentic conversations.

My biggest criticism of The Bougie Show is that it rarely feels like a natural conversation. The flow often comes across as forced, more like a rapid-fire list of questions than an actual dialogue. Guests are frequently interrupted or rushed, sometimes before they’ve even finished a thought, which undercuts any chance for depth or meaningful insight. The host’s style adds to the issue. He tends to dominate the conversation, and his commentary often feels unnecessarily intrusive rather than engaging. The result is a dynamic that can be awkward to listen to, especially when the guest is clearly more interesting than the line of questioning allows them to be. The show has potential, but the interviewing approach makes it less compelling than it could be. That said, I’m giving it 3 stars because there are moments of genuine insight, and the topics can be interesting if you’re willing to sift through the awkwardness. With some more natural flow and giving guests room to breathe, this could be a much stronger podcast.

The host needs to let the GUESTS be GUESTS and let them talk. He clearly likes to hear his own voice. Let the stars talk. Otherwise, why give them a platform!?!?
