AMAZING DETAILS!!

Mnt. Wolfie•10/4/2026

This set of podcasts represents some of the most detailed, interesting and well written content I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. These 2 Goofballs are like the kids you went to HS with that were silly and funny . . and the next thing you knew, one had a full ride to Berkley and the other to Columbia. You’re like . . “wait, they never told me they were intellectual giants!” In all seriousness, though, I love the topic of the civil war, and I have watched or read nearly every documentary, biography, film, or descriptive material I could get my hands on since my 20s. This husband and wife duo has put together what could be the most detailed narrative that I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. It is long, but so was the war, to those that lived through it. This is where you decide how serious a scholar of a civil war you really want to be. The true genius of this podcast, is that it doesn’t feel long. The information is delivered in such a way, that it never seems to get tedious (to the listener at least. I am sure that these two have looked at each other at times and said . . eh . . “do we really have to finish the entire war?”) The amount of research, study, writing, reviewing & editing that goes into producing just one of these episodes, reveals the seriousness of their intent! You 2 should be congratulated! You have created a work that will be looked to for generations as one of the most thorough and in depth studies of the greatest tragedy our land has ever had the misfortune of experiencing. Thank You for sharing your amazing contribution to our nation’s factual history, in a time when everything seems editable. Whether we like it or not, changing the facts to make us more comfortable, or to make sure our family’s’ legacy remains untarnished, does nothing but make us susceptible to repeating our mistakes over and over. Most Sincerely- McC

Thank you for standing up for democracy and the Constitution. The irony of these reviewers who are upset about your commentary is not lost on me.

Arrogance and Ignorance

Not a good combination. Without any specifics, like a middle school bully he calls people names. Pathetic.
