Very interesting, Great story telling

Funny and strange and moving and profound. Honestly, I laugh openly more often while listening to this podcast than any other, and with remarkable frequency I also cry. Outstanding and vital work.

There are thousands of podcasts that truck in the quirky. Thousands more that yank on heart strings. I haven’t found one that pulls you into a tiny closet with quirk and keeps you there in the dark clutching your knees pining to know what comes next? Except this one. Why WAS there a dog on that sub? Wish I could give it 6 stars.

Did you run out of material or is AI writing your podcast now? The transition from paper blankets to whatever else you were exploring was confusing. You clearly aren’t very knowledgeable about the classical or ancient world so stay away from topics like garum, Greek fire, and silphium—just don’t waste our time on those. Those topics might be new or interesting to you, but that’s only because you just learned about them. Stick to the modern period after 1800s—that’s where your show shines. Earlier than that and the printers used a F-shaped glyph for word-internal S’s and you seem to think those were pronounced as F. Some stories are fantastically interesting topics that deserve 5 stars. The ones that devolve into politics are not well researched and are often factually inaccurate and biased. The death in Disney episode was not enjoyable, neither was the Paper Blankets. The politics stories are insufferable.

Really like some episodes. Really lost on others. One request. Please stop asking for stories in your podcast description. I’d like to know what the episode is about instead of seeing your plea for stories again.
