Times has lost its it’s way. No longer trustworthy . After recent takedown article some of us questioning Times membership question the motives of reporters who do a takedown article for some folks question the reporters who excuse corruption for others. Biased reporting on the right and on the left. Question the reporters because they have some very biased motives. I am devastated by a number of times articles, come on guys. Who are you working for? New York Times has lost its way, normalizing the political landscape when democracy is at stake and the country needsS you most Falling short of ethical in-depth truth telling when we need you mos The New York Times is normalizing unethical behavior at a time we cannot afford to normalize, At a time where the world needs true reporting and ethical and truthful, in-depth coverage the New York Times is falling short . At a time when we meet you most. Deaf, dumb and blind, the New York Times needs to wake up, ethically respond to the real issues and do a deeper truth, telling … No longer doing the best i in-depth coverage—“ I no longer trust you, h you falling short of a Daily” go-tto Sad to hear such blatant, twisting of deeper truths, and lack of real understanding of the issues. I’m afraid the New York Times is failing to step up to this moment. Over and over, the New York Times, which has been a go to resource to frame issues, misses the point completely. At some point, I will take the time to revise and update my review. For now, the times completely misses the point of the existential race we are in Between moving forward as a community of Americans who have each other’s back and want to make a better world, and regressive, corrupt, totalitarian tactics to destroy our nation. It seems our hosts and guests are caught in inability to frame, and imagine the issues at stake. David, usually has a big enough mind and ethical insight, to see the issues but even he is failing and flailing to imagine what’s really at steak in our world and in our nation politically socially economically environmentally. We want to make positive change and we are better than that . we want a better world we want honest politicians and we’re done hearing from people who trot out tired old perspectives that give permission political, operatives, bad actors, and to criminals, liars, and corrupt leaders, who have major rules in our government, who are intent on causing division and destroying our nation they really are issues at stake asking questions is good probing for motives is good but these people are not just disruptors, they deliberately create dissension and want carnage. Please be careful and recognize what we are dealing with. Unfortunately, right now there are choices for our future and they mean something. Episode after episode I am disappointed in the house and guests. We must be fair and critically minded and we must also be fierce and compassionate truth tellers I’m afraid the New York Times is not stepping up to the moment . I deleted my first four star review, and this is my second review. I wish I had dated them and kept track of them. I hope that sincere, genuine comments, matter, and that the times can adjust and see what’s at steak in this moment. We need to do better, we can do better and I urge you to do better thank you. Everything below this comment is from earlier comments This used to be my go to podcast. And the New York Times, a bulwark of democracy and freedom, Inow, I’m concerned about the New York Times period the times was the first journalistic enterprise to really go after Biden while overlooking the Mental morale and ethical crimes and depravity of his opponent. Without knowing what is at stake, the times was slow to understand kamslaThey are ready to pick a fight and create division and excitement instead of seeing what’s really at stake in terms of our freedoms and future . claiming to be unbiased and a “critical source for information, they are failing to see what’s it stake in our democracy and how they are contributing whether it’s issues in American politics or the horror of war internationally on the violence against innocent civilians by nation, states. there are a lot of really smart good people giving voice and space, to right wing, social, political, extremism on both nationally and internationally and not tempering it . it seems they’ have lost their moral compass . II used to trust the New York Times and I believed that they were part of the good the better and the best and the commitment, to build a better world for all. Now it seems like they’re running like lemmings after small minded and corrupt actors, Without a moral compass. , please, please please please recalibrate check yourselves and recognize the responsibility you have you are losing your moral ethical and intellectual groun Come on people you can do better. We expect you to. We need you too. The future is calling for you to stand up and give voice to the better angels of our nation our community and the world. are you ready for the job of protecting and democracy? Below is my original review written about two years ago. I’m not going to delete it. I’m including it with my critique We love Michael Barbaro. We also love David Remnick, of the New Yorker radio hour. Brilliant fair minded interviews. These programs are A wealth of information and insight.
The reporting on Graham Plattner was irresponsible
The allegations are not even bad and the NYT needs to stop talking about it
Platner hit piece
Disgraceful “ journalism “ . Just sent Graham 10 $. I live in CT . Thanks for the the inspiration, corporate media!
Barbaro has a high level of insufferability. Tavernise exit was a real loss.
Barbaro has a high level of insufferability. Tavernise exit was a real loss. Can’t remember what episode but last straw was some tantrum about an introduction
Scott Pelly Interview
I listen to the Daily, daily. This episode was one of the best done yet. Helps that the interviewee has such a great personality and is so open about their emotions - but LuLu did a great job bringing that out.
