less chat

I enjoy the information provided, but the podcast could be half as long if chitchat were eliminated. Because of the length I stopped listening to the podcast a while ago and then found the "fun size." All of the casts could be fun size if there were less chatting and more information. 제발!

Interesting topics but pretentious host

I binged a bunch of episodes. They cover interesting topics and are knowledgeable and passionate. I am Korean American and have been living in Korea off and on for years. They know quite a lot about Korean folklore, history, and culture. They respect and embrace the culture and have valid criticisms. One thing that bothers me is one of the hosts comes off as better-than-thou and pretentious like a hipster who doesn’t like anything popular. He is actually quite closed off in the opinions he forms based on no information. I have examples and I could go into it but this isn’t the place. I just find it very annoying. Debating whether to keep listening or not.

I enjoy their contrasting personalities as well as interesting stories from modern and historic times and their discussions of the culture of South Korea. I love the new things I learn from these hosts! Can’t wait to do their ghost walk when I visit Korea.

Great but please use a de-esser

Great podcast for unusual Korean facts. But please use a de-esser on your vocals! The sibilance is hard to listen to.
