A lot of drama
Some of the episodes are good, but I would prefer less doomsday drama.
Bubble Vory (“thieves-in-law”)
The thing that distinguishes this bubble from past bubbles is this bubble enjoys the TOTAL support of a POTUS manipulating the bubble to grow, adding to this fact the belief of the investing class that Trump will do WHATEVER it takes to keep the Market up while he is in office e.g., sell insider information via Truth Social posts, on again off again tariffs etc…. In short, the investing class believes, rightly or wrongly, it has nothing to lose (i.e., micro-risk) by being in on the joke, moreover, you are a fool not to invest in this shower of gold. "In every stock-jobbing swindle everyone knows that some time or other the crash must come, but every one hopes that it may fall on the head of his neighbour, after he himself has caught the shower of gold and placed it in safety." Marx
Great guest; poor interviewer
Listen to the ‘Catastrophe’ interview to hear Prof Steve Henke talk about the Iran war and the economy. Henke is a brilliant economist, Lin is a joke as an interviewer, and the professor basically says as much during the interview.
Informative
David Lin knows his subject matter. He researches his guests and their backgrounds and asks the right questions. I’ve learned a great deal from his podcasts.
Click Bait??
Title used Lyn Alden’s name to catch interest then had a couple of TDS guests blathering on.
