Good…but

The actual Johnny Dollar show itself is really good. Good quality and plot. However the commentary before and after the show takes a lot of time and frankly is quite annoying. The voice of the commentator is very annoying and the commentary he gives is second-rate.

Enjoyable

Perhaps my favorite podcast!

The voice of Adam

I enjoy Adam’s compilations of OTR episodes; but sorry dood, Adam’s voice is not fun to listen to. And the intro music is clown car music. Just stinking play the episodes and call it a day.

My #1 Podcast

This is by far my #1 podcast! I am a huge fan of classic radio drama shows and Yours Truly is my favorite. I listen while driving, I listening while doing dishes, I listen next to the fireplace in the winter and I even go to sleep with it playing. Adam - thank you for putting this together week after week!

Great show great commentary

I have been listening to this show for almost as long as it has been available. I love the episodes, the history. I really like Adam’s commentary. He gives great back ground and framing to the episodes. Just like everyone, I have favorite shows and less favorite shows, but I appreciate what I learn from each. It’s part of the entertainment value for me. The nasty critiques of Adam’s voice are like nails on a chalkboard to me. Give me a break. I chose this podcast because of what he adds. If I only wanted the old time radio episodes without his input, I would just go elsewhere. Great job Adam!
