Great podcast
A very informative podcast on an extremely important topic.
Great Academic Chats
I have been enjoying this podcast for its thoughtful approach to the historical event of the Holocaust and the deep insights guests bring. My only issue listening is the frequent background noise that permeates episodes - throughout various episodes, sounds including loud typing, someone blowing their nose, background conversation, a pet being fed, and doors opening and closing have made appearances. I’ve had to stop listening in the middle of conversations because it’s so distracting.

It’s okey it’s just the basic of what we know and no big details
Overall review
Mr Beorn, I want to say I like listening to your podcast. The people you bring on are fascinating. The stories about how they got involved with the History of the Holocaust and the research into their particular subject. Even though some aren’t historians. They still add a lot. I have read books from these authors that have been on your podcasts and I have the intention to read all the books. I have been studying this subject since I was 11 years old and I am now 59. My grandparents came from Poznan before the war. I have heard various stories about the Russians, Germans , Ukrainians etc … from relatives. I could go on about how thrilled I am listening to your podcast because it is so unique. The Holocaust is not just one area, it affected the whole of Europe in more ways than one. I would like to hear an interview with Tim Snyder. I enjoyed his books “Bloodlands” (2010) and “Blackearth” (2015). I rate your podcast five stars. Thank you for the time and effort you put into the podcast.
A very important podcast
A really great podcast! Very informative without being boring and I enjoy the diversity of the different guests and their perspectives on the holocaust. My only complaint is the sound quality at times. It just needs some tweaking with background noise, drinking noises, and volume. Other than that you’re doing a great job and I really appreciate the work you’re doing!
