The Kick Pregnancy Podcast

I am a new momma currently 18weeks pregnant. I’ve been researching hypertension and preeclampsia as I am currently struggling with high blood pressure and as someone who’s never been pregnant before this is all really scary to me. Your episode on preeclampsia was very informative but I wonder if you could share more about the risks of hypertension in the very early stages of pregnancy and if preeclampsia develops sooner than 30 weeks (say 20 weeks) what would be the course of action. Would you be considering delivery that early on? How do you manage or handle if the preeclampsia becomes aggressive. I have seen a perinatal specialist and we are managing my blood pressure with medication but I still can’t help but worry for what could happen so I’d be interested to hear your take on it.

Ahhh! I love listening to this show! I’m a first time mom to be at 36 years old. There is so much out there on trying to get pregnant (went through it for the 7 months of trying hard!), I’m in shock that there’s not more shows like this on pregnancy! This is so informative and enjoyable to listen to! Better than books I bought! Other pregnancy shows don’t cut it and need to step up their game lol Great job and thank you so much for helping people like me relax and learn what to expect!

I love the information, the collaborative and non- judge mental approach when talking about moms. I would love to hear a podcast about getting pregnant when you’re considered geriatric (hate this term) pregnancy age. Keep up the great podcast!

I’m tuning in from the US. My husband and I have been TTC since December 2020, so we are just starting out. This podcast has been so informational and has been excellent guidance on our journey so far! I wish I could see Dr. Pat for my own pregnancy when I am lucky enough to get reach that point.
