Great story, stilted dialogue

I really wanna like this podcast, but the dialogue is so stilted it’s hard for me to get through more than an episode at a time.

Reviewing First Two Seasons

I have completed the first two seasons and must say that I have never heard a show or audio book of the same quality. The characters are well developed and storyline flows well.

Great but not clean

The first episode from season one was fantastic. However, the second episode became vulgar really quick. It’s a shame. I was looking forward to listening, but it does not meet my moral thresholds.

Woke Aye

The Leviathan Chronicles was great, but Season 5 went annoyingly woke. Some woke is bearable, but the dialogue was so unrealistic because they were trying to send a thick message to the audience. They basically broke the 4th wall to recite a list to the audience of why dams and mining are evil. It was already obvious why they wanted to blow the dam, they didn’t need to spell it out in such a dumb way.

Love it

This is a great show. Great character development, great world-building, and love the voice-acting. I know the creators are not ultimately happy about the amount of narration in the early episodes, but that’s what grabbed me initially. Happy for them that the show evolved to better achieve their creative goals but I didn’t find it to be problem.
