Truly Biased
Sorry, I thought this would be related to real debate. Instead, it’s just another leftist echo chamber. I could not make it through the episode where the leftist described how the USA is lacking in armaments, while the great and power Islamic Regime of Iran had weathered all that the USA could dish out? Please don’t delete any of these and let’s see how the future world looks back on this yellow propaganda. I have a feeling it will be with embarrassment and laughter.
One star for the 4/24/26 episode
This episode and others would benefit from experts with ties to the global majority (Africa, Asia and descendants of Africans and Asians). Any mature person knows that they need to diversify their investments. But experts with knowledge of policies and trends in Africa and Asia (especially West Asia) can apply this basic investment advice with cultural competence. PM Carney must know what other Canadians paying attention know. Canada (a country of 35 million that needs to advance its own truth and reconciliation processes) was not well served by relying so much on a USA it expected to be strategic and secure. There’s a big world with many countries that have a proven track record of protecting the planet, lifting hundreds of millions of people out of poverty and promoting peace. Those countries include China, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica and Barbados. For Canada to survive, it must seek out best practices. This podcast, The Munk School and the Government of Canada can find those experts to help Canada recover from past, toxic alliances.
Can’t take the TDS
I’m no Trump sycophant, but the consistent display of Trump arrangement syndrome has driven me away from what used to be a good podcast. Every silly thing the man does is not the end of the world or a reason to question his mental capacity.
More debates plz
The podcast used to have interesting debates moderated by Rudyard acting as a pretty good neutral. Now it seems to be just the same two people saying the same two things, which are usually two more different reasons they don’t like the same politician. It’s not a debate at all and has gotten very very boring.
They don’t do debates anymore
Now it’s just two Canadians doing punditry. Rudyard asks Janice what she thinks about something, and she blames Trump/the Israelis. It’s not even that’s she’s wrong, it’s that the show can be replaced with a rock that has “Trump/Israel is bad” carved on it. There’s really nothing interesting here anymore.
