The New York Times Narrated

…I just can’t listen to pieces read by Eric Jason Martin, or at least that’s who the episodes say it’s narrated by? But from reading the other reviews, it must be the same voice that people say is AI. Either way, make it stop! If this is a real person, I really don’t like to be mean or harsh but oofta, that voice! Nothing makes me turn a podcast off faster……which is sad because i often really, really want to listen to that piece! But just CANNOT. Sometime I find another app to read the transcript for me. Does the app still sound like AI when it reads? Yes. Is it better than the voice here? Absolutely. I don’t know how anybody listens to things read by him (or whatever). It’s just really, really bad. 😕

Just listened to the fascinating but grotesque story behind the Michael movie. The narration sounded disturbingly like AI. Hope that isn’t the case. Don’t need more of that in my life
