Good but changing

I appreciate Nick’s story and dedication to fitness. I’ve listened to the podcast frequently over the past year, and I’ve purchased a few BPN supplements. Nick can be quite vulnerable and open about his entrepreneurship journey and personal development, which makes this podcast great. Recently, he’s been pivoting to more faith-based discussion, which I generally support, but the episode on 11/3 seemed like a marketing ploy to attract more Christian listeners, as it felt like it lacked authenticity. He speaks extensively about how his personal experiences and the books he reads help him evolve in a nuanced manner, but his discussions about religion seem forced and cliched. Nick can use his platform however he sees fit, and it’s fine if he wants to discuss his faith. However, it feels like this podcast as a whole is going down an Evangelical path, which I find worrisome as Nick and his wife appear to be pretty judgmental of those who do not think and act like them (see the 11/3 episode, moving to Nashville, how he plans to judge his employees going forward, and the airport food incident as examples). Not a bad podcast, but the faith episodes lack authenticity and feel manufactured.
