Good podcast but...
Ok, this podcast is very well produced but, David Cummings should stick to pre-story narrating. His character over acting really bumps you out of the story. That being said minus David’s over acting was the whole cast and music production is top notch. Update: Been a listener since the pandemic and idk what it is but the stories are lacking something. Maybe I’ve been accustomed to high quality of stories of the past and now they’re boring and nothing too scary. If it doesn’t change for the better it’s not worth the time tbh. The voice acting is top notch but the stories stink.
Adoration!
I adore this show!!!! It is peak podcasting! Nothing could be better! No matter how I try to enjoy others, nothing can compare. I have wrote reviews for NoSleep before, but I was going back through season 11 and was listening to episode 15. I have some experience in acting and whoever was playing Harper in Executionist, (Graham Rowat maybe?) was beyond! I forgot that I was listening and wasn’t actually in the room witnessing his destruction! Top level performance! But every single voice actor that we hear is so phenomenal that I have begun saving lists of where I can find other podcast episodes or audiobooks that they’ve narrated: I dread the day that I listen to everything and am fully caught up. Thank you David & crew for adding great level entertainment to our ears!!!!
Fantastic legacy horror for everyone
Wish I could give more than 5 stars to offset the 1 star comments about queer characters and storylines. I have never felt like this podcast “lectures” me on account of I don’t prefer a black and white worldview. I don’t need to be queer to appreciate that queer people have stories worth listening to. No sleep does a great job at creating existential dread and lingering, ambient horror. Also I’m pretty sure that I’d really enjoy Dave cumming’s company.
It’s fine
The stories are good but way too left leaning. Every episode has a lecture
