Fun show, so I feel a bit bad that the only reason I’m reviewing is to say something negative. But That “bad guy” voice for the woman that wants to kill Juno and Peter.. is awful enough to stop listening if that character sticks around. So awful.

I have not listened to the Second Citadel so I don’t have a review for that but JUNO STEEL IS SO AMAZING. I love him and his character development. I LOVE his gender. (that lady can steel my heart any day. Get it?) I LOVE his space criminal boyfriend. I love the Aurinkos, Rita, Jet, Vespa, Buddy, the Ruby, Nureyev. I love the representation from different genders, bi rep, gay rep, trans rep, aro/ace rep, gender-fluid rep, and SO much more. I also love THIRST: Can’t tear my eyes from you, because the drama oh my gosh. Georgia and Cap will always be my day one (please don’t die) also there is lesbian, trans, and queer rep. I also love how AI is the enemy. Thank you so much Penumbra team for existing and please keep going! You are doing so amazing!!Cannot recommend enough! 💜💛

Everything on this podcast is FANTASTIC. If i had to choose, the second citadel is probably my all time favorite story I’ve listened to!

I don’t have a lot of patience for a certain kind of character, and Juno just came off as too snarky and sour for my liking

Hands down, this is the best narrative podcast I have listened to. It’s got compelling characters, well developed stories and settings, and superb acting and sound design. I do wish some of the episodes had better volume control because there is quite a bit of variation sometimes, but that is a very minor issue for such a fantastic creative work.
