I like the ideas behind what she is saying, but sometimes the advice doesn’t feel secure in practical advice. It feels nebulous.

Great

The best part about Maggie’s work is her blend of practical knowledge and application recommendations. She’s willing to say “I feel this is because…” without limitation. Maggie’s been making sense for a long time and she keeps getting better.

Love that she’s a mom

I found this podcast through YouTube, and I want to show my support here, too. I really love her very practical approach. I especially appreciate that she’s a mom and knows firsthand the demands that caretaking puts on the nervous system. I also love that she doesn’t lean too heavily into scientific data or spiritual concepts. As fascinating as those perspectives are, I’ve found that they take me out of my body and more into my mind and my default overthinking state. Maggie focuses on the real in-the-moment, on-the-ground opportunities - where life actually HAPPENS - to practice acceptance and regulation. I can feel the difference this information has been making in my life.

You are a God-send!

What a gift from God Maggie is to the nervous- community. I’ve learned things from her that I’ve never been taught in a decade of anxiety and insomnia. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Maggie. Keep making content.

Not always what you want to hear, but…

Usually what you need to hear. I really appreciate Maggie’s direct, no nonsense way of talking and explaining things. You can tell she’s empathetic, but she’s not here to coddle you. I think we all need more of that. It’s also refreshing that she’s not trying to sell you anything, offer quick fixes, or cheap hacks. The only minor complaint I have is that she and her husband are Dodgers fans. Sincerely, a sad Brewers fan.
