The Stories of Mahabharata

Amazing story telling, felt every movement

Recommended especially to know about details of Ramayan story

Highly entertaining

The storyteller, Sudipta Bhawmik, is wonderful. He keeps you engaged throughout. The music and sound complement the storytelling very well. The story is one of the greatest of all time, with action, romance, court intrigue, philosophy, nuanced characters, humor, terror, in short— everything! The Mahabharata is extremely long, and Bhawmik really took on an enormous task in bringing it down to a manageable size. If you have read the epic you will probably be sad to find some of your favorite scenes left out, but they have done an excellent job condensing it, and I am so glad that this production was undertaken and done so well.
