Enough with the kids already

mike raphone hog6/6/2026

Although the show is mostly still a great listen and most of the guests are great, Wilbon has become insufferable, not only because he cant be bothered to pay attention to anything but basketball and Chicago sports while he demeans anything east of Pittsburgh as “you I95 people who don’t pay attention to anything about the midwest,” which evidently covers everything from Tallahassee to Seattle. Also weve heard more than enough about Mathew and his friends. I get it, you love your kid, as most of us love our kids. And speaking of kids, son Michael interrupts every conversation to relate it to your grandkids. It’s turning into an old Art Linkletter kids say the darndest things. Only Tony will get that reference. Great that everyone loves their kids and Grandkids but its just too much. After all they’re not our kids, its like a conversation in the cafeteria at the nursing home. I know its Michaels only reason for being on the show, he brings no humour or insight other than some golf knowledge from his priviledged upbringing, but a lot less airtime from the two Michaels would return the pod to a five star winner

Too Much Wilbon

I’d give the show five stars if Wilbon were used more sparingly in favor of other guests who could bring something fresher. And Tony’s worship of Wilbon is a little over the top. Still, I don’t miss an episode.

Appears as 5 star without any entry. What’s up with this? BTW usually give this podcast 5 stars, but wondering if my rating counts.

James Carville? Really?

Any podcast that has James Carville on it, and values his opinion, can’t be taken seriously.

Big fan, Big fan

I am the biggest fan of not only the show, but of all things TK! I’ve been watching PTI since it first aired. Got addicted to the podcast pre Covid. Never miss an episode. Keep up the good work!
