The Trial: Australia

I hope the probe into the service of Ben Roberts-Smith VC shows he’s innocent of allegations of wrongdoing and possibly murder. It seems to me from across the Pacific Ocean in the USA, that Mr. Roberts-Smith is being targeted by those who are filled with envy and might typically be of an anti-Western, post-Colonialist leanings. Please stop it, governments everywhere! Leave our veterans of the past quarter century alone. They didn’t cause the problems in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Gaza etc. Our leaders did. I unsubscribed after listening to the latest episode. The coverage of the Ben Roberts-Smith arrest and charges was completely biased in his favour. Downplaying the crimes and the prior civil trial finding of substantial truth. The bias was demonstrated by the host stating ‘these charges seem ridiculous’. The job of a host is to be objective, regardless of their personal feelings. Lack of favour is particularly important as the matter is before the courts. Read the judgment and books. Watch the documentaries. There is a case to be answered. Yes innocent until proven guilty but justifiably before the courts.

I like this better than the 6 minute daily trial summaries elsewhere but once they reach the part with text messages the loud clacking noise is unbearable and I stopped listening altogether.

The clicking noise effect for the text evidence was hard to listen to. I wish the overall audio was better. The story was interesting
