The Unauthorized History of the Pacific War

I used to have various hobbies. I used to listen to many different kinds of podcasts and read books on various topics. Ever since I found this show, it’s become all I listen to. Now all the books I read are about WW2 in the pacific. It’s become a full-fledged addiction but I consider myself a high-functioning addict. This show has ignited in me a passion for this topic and I absolutely cannot get enough. I love what you guys are doing with this show. Very high quality and love listening to every episode. Can’t wait to read Jon’s new book and Seth’s book about the Naval Battles of Guadalcanal. Thanks for all the work and time that goes into this show, guys. We appreciate it.

Amazed at the ignorance of Jon’s political comments about ICE in Minneapolis. Jon, have you thought about why they are there? It is because the democrat party hates the country and long to destroy it. Four years of Joe Biden resulted in 12 million illegals invading our nation and overwhelming our social welfare system. Walz’s illegal sanctuary city policies means your MN government protects illegal immigrants from the consequences of their criminal activities at the expense of the rights and safety of American citizens. The democrat party hates Americans and will gladly sacrifice their safety and tax dollars in favor of importing a third-world constituency that will keep them in power. If you are so superior to America First American’s like me and so sympathetic to the plight of illegal immigrants I ask how many illegal immigrants you have taken into your home???? Or are you a typical liberal hypocrite who talks platitudes while living in a safe neighborhood while illegals overrun our most vulnerable,ost poor communities. I can no longer listen to your pod cast nor buy your book. Wake up!!!

Absolutely the best history podcast. I have been listening since part way through season 1 and cannot give Seth, Bill, Jon, enough credit for their efforts. I always had a big draw to history and ww2 but these guys bring it in at another level. I am 35 so probably younger than most listeners but due to the spark they gave me I found a surviving St Louis veteran and reached out to him. At 102 yrs old he was delighted to have someone younger interested in his story. Folks, listen, learn, pay respect, and reach out and just say thanks while we still can. Thanks guys!

This podcast has been a honey hole of knowledge and insight that I couldn’t have ever imagined. Seth Bill and John complement each other extremely well with their different backgrounds and studies. I can’t thank these 3 enough for putting this podcast together. It’s really sparked my interest and desire to learn more about the Pacific side of the war and especially the naval battles that don’t get the attention they really deserve. Love the show and the dialogue between the hosts and the guest. Great information concerning the actions in the pacific war. Keep up the good work you all are doing!
